面接の準備
Preparing for an Interview as a designer
来週、東京の会社でデザイナーの面接を受けることになった。転職は初めてなので、緊張している。
らいしゅう、とうきょう の かいしゃ で でざいなー の めんせつ を うける こと に なった。てんしょく は はじめて な ので、きんちょう して いる。
Next week, I will have an interview for a designer position at a company in Tokyo. This is my first time changing jobs, so I am nervous.
面接では、転職理由や自分の強みについて聞かれるはずだ。そこで、答えを準備して、声に出して練習することにした。
めんせつ で は、てんしょく りゆう や じぶん の つよみ について きかれる はず だ。そこで、こたえ を じゅんび して、こえ に だして れんしゅう する こと に した。
In the interview, I will surely be asked about my reason for changing jobs and my strengths. So I decided to prepare answers and practice saying them out loud.
日本語での面接は簡単ではないが、ゆっくり話せば伝わると先輩にアドバイスをもらった。完璧な日本語より、誠実な態度のほうが大切だそうだ。
にほんご で の めんせつ は かんたん で は ない が、ゆっくり はなせば つたわる と せんぱい に あどばいす を もらった。かんぺきな にほんご より、せいじつな たいど の ほう が たいせつ だ そう だ。
Interviews in Japanese are not easy, but a senior gave me advice that if I speak slowly, I will be understood. Apparently a sincere attitude matters more than perfect Japanese.
面接の最後には、必ず逆質問の時間がある。会社の文化やチームの働き方について質問するつもりだ。
めんせつ の さいご に は、かならず ぎゃくしつもん の じかん が ある。かいしゃ の ぶんか や ちーむ の はたらきかた について しつもん する つもり だ。
At the end of an interview, there is always time for questions from the candidate. I plan to ask about the company culture and how the team works.
How to use this page
Start with all layers on. Once you can follow the story, hide English. Then hide furigana and try reading the kanji alone. Romaji is off by default — lean on kana as early as you can.
