Standups follow 報連相: report (yesterday), share (today), consult (blockers). Naming a blocker early is encouraged, not seen as weakness.
Formality level
Polite (です/ます) is standard even in casual teams during a meeting. Keep updates short and concrete.
Common mistake
Don't over-apologize for blockers. State them plainly: 〜でつまずいています is enough.
